End of Season 1

We had our banquet and it was a fun way to end a good season. Except for some broken glass and bleeding, the banquet was great. The food was amazing and the girls looked adorable.

Safety First

With Spring here and summer around the corner, don't forget your sunscreen! Just a quick bite of info on sunscreen so everyone knows the facts (yes I am a nerd but I know how important it is!)
SPF = sun protective factor - it tells you how long your sunscreen will last. So... if you take the minutes that it takes your skin to get pink (without any protection) and mulitply it by the SPF- you will know how long it lasts, and when to reapply

SPF x Minutes to pink = reapplication time (eg. 40spf x 5 minutes to pink = 200 minutes)

Sun Blocks vs Sun Screens

- Sun blocks actually block sun, its like a reflector and reflects the sun away from your skin- this is the best protections but is not always cosmetically pleasing (thicker, hard to rub in, etc.)
- Sun screens absorb the sun- instead of reflecting it absorbs the UV rays along with the heat- This doesn't protect as well but is easier to wear and rub in.

Don't forget your sunscreen- its the best way to keep your skin prettier for longer! Loves- Jami

The last little while

Life for Tyler and Jami: Work, School, Sleep, Work Schol, Sleep- this is our life for the next 5 weeks- then comes graduation ( a day I thought would never come )- So far we are just working toward that with a few fun things in between. I have my cheerleader's banquet coming up, and just helped at the relief society b-day dinner. Tyler is crazy doing work projects and looking into financial planning- we watched cute braden over the weekend. Thats about life for now- nothing real exciting. With the end of school around the corner, I am sure some big changes are in the near future. A change will be good.

Last Competition

All of the girls
McKaela and Ashlyn

Edessa

Kinzi, Kelcie, Kristin, and Sariah

Kenzi and Kiersten

We had our last competition- the girls did great and got second place! Great job- its been a season of learning, struggles, triumphs, and trials. I have grown to really love these girls and have really enjoyed watching them learn and grow. I'll never forget my season with this team and I wish them all the best luck trying out for highschool.

Weddings!

I attended two weddings in the last two weeks, one for Brooke, and old friend from El Sol, and the other, my best friend Natalie Barson Carlen. What I learned about myself this last week is that I'm a blubbering baby at weddings- at least I'll know to pack tissues for future weddings. IT was so amazing to see the unions of these two wonderful people! I loved being at Natalie's sealing- its just the most amazing feeling to know they are being sealed for time and all eternity. Its just what life is all about- being with the one you love forever. I guess I'm just a sentimental fool, but I love weddings and enjoyed these two!
