House Pics

I haven't posted pictures of our new house because It just isn't done yet.  We still have some painting to do, furniture to build, and tons of decorations to be hung.  But... I figured that might take a while,  So here is some pics of our house.  I am not a good photographer-  so if you really want to see the house, it would be best to come visit.  It a split level, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home and we love it. 

Front of the House

This is the front room and the front door, where you walk in.  I have more to hang on the wall,  Tyler is making a black entertainment center, and we plan on a nice flat screen to sit on top of it.

 

This is the Kitchen and dining room area, just up the stairs when you walk in- Still looking for some wall hangings, any suggestions?

This is our bedroom- again not much on the walls,  any suggestions?

Connected to the bedroom is the master bathroom-  its small, but it works for us

This is the small room down stairs,  we are planning on a small couch and table, for this area- that'll be a while,  for now is the music room

Downstairs bathroom,  the shower is hiding, but it has one

Spare bedroom, the pictures look bad but its pretty nice.

THis is the view from our backtyard.  The yard is landscaped-  I plan on fixing it :)

What I didn't take pictures of is our office-  its got a lot of work to be done, and the two car garage which may or may not be the best part of the house.

So this is our humble abode-  seriously come visit and see it for real, its much nicer in person.

State Champs!

My Girls took First at the Utah Championships this weekend!  Needless to say, I'm a proud mama-  here are some pics. 

Who Takes Care of Me

Just wanted to give a shout out to my hubby for taking care of me.  I tend to forget things, lose things, etc, and thank goodness I have a husband who realizes this because if it wasn't for him, things could get really bad. 

In the last few months I have...

1. Left my entire purse at Einsteins Bagels

2. Left my Debit Card at PF Changs

3. Lost my wedding ring (found)

4. Lost my Glasses (not found)

5. Lost my camera (found)

6. Left my keys in the SLC temple and didn't realize it until I had made the hike to clear behind the conference center where I was parked
7. and Lastly-  Left our new video camera at Training Table in Layton- (found and Recovered)
** These are only the things I can remember at the moment,  I know there are many more incidents I can't recall.

All of things have occured when Tyler was not with me.  Why?  What makes me forget things?  My friend Natalie and I have a theory-  we are so busy worrying about everything we are doing next, that we forget the things we are doing right now.  Whatever the cause,  My Husband Tyler makes sure I have everything I need, and that I don't forget anything whenever he is with me.  He even packs my purse before we go anywhere.  
I'm a lucky girl, and I am so glad I have him to take care of me.  Because if he didn't, I don't know what I'd do.  Love you Babe- 

UGH School

When I applied for the School Counseling Program at USU,  I knew it was going to be a lot of work.  I was excited about it.  So my first semester came around-  Pretty easy.  I got a 4.0, the workload was small, the hardest part was the big final projects but I did well.  My professor told us that this semester is the hardest of them all.  I thought... "woo hoo- this is going to be easy!" I took on extra work and made myself pretty busy because school wasn't going to be too hard.  Well... I'm thinking she lied.

This Semester is filled with lots of work (i'll call it work but its really Busy-work).  In the first week of school  this is what was assigned and due the next week.  #1- about 100 pages of reading in text books.  #2- three articles to read  completely.  #3- 2 papers.  #4 a quiz on the reading.  ALL IN THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL

Now maybe I'm just being a baby-  but this feels like a heck of a whole lot of work for one week.  And this is about average for every week until the end of the semester... not including any projects or exams. 

So how do I feel?  OVERWHELMED!!!  Like I took on WAY to much.  Like I need to quit one of my 3 jobs!!! Like I had no idea what I was getting myself into.  I feel like a Gradaute Student.

Year 2009

So I thought I would jump on the cliche new years bandwagon and review 2009.  I'll make it short but this year was HUGE for our little Family.  We sat down the other day and thought about all the different things we did this year, and how next year is going to be way boring in comparisson (unless we have baby- that is the only thing that could trump this year) **(This is not an announcement of any kind).  Here is a short list of the BIG things that happened this year- in chronological order

1. Happy 2 year Anniversary April 7th 2007

2. GRADUATION!  Tyler- Bachelors in Business,  Jami- Bachelors in Psychology

 - This meant big new job for TYLER- :)

3. Jamaica-  Ya Mon! (May 2009)

4. Graduate School! Acceptance to the School Counseling Program! Woot Woot

5. Welcome Home Stuart!

6. Hello Alpine Wyoming!  Trip to the Cabin with Andersons, Hello Bear Lake, Trip with the Heps

HAPPY 2010

New Years~

We spent New Years Eve at Hamiltons with our new friends from Boise, Lauren and Brett Davis.  Lauren is the new edition to the MA family at Rocky Mountain Dermatology.   I do love the Steak Pasta at Hamiltons. It was fun to hang with them.  We ran into Craigers while we were there and he was so great to take the group pic.  Thanks Craig. 

After we headed to Sean and Amies house- some good friends, and chatted until midnight.  Happy New Year

New Years Day me and Nat went to lunch.  We wanted to go to Elements for their amazing asian salad,   but were dissapointed when they were closed, just like every other nice restaurant in town.  So we settled for an old favorite.  Lunch special at Firehouse.  Its always good spending time with one of your oldest and best friends.  Nat your the best.

Hit up the new movie Sherlock Holmes with the Hepworths,  Had Sean and Amie over again for Dinner-  and then spent the day after new years at my parents having a nice New Years Dinner and playing Taboo!

I think the new year started off right-  Don't you think?

I found my camera!!!
Christmas was great.  Tyler and I spent christmas eve with my family playing games and eating, and eating, and eating.  The next morning we headed back to my parents for christmas morning.  We hadn't had a christmas morning with them in 2 years.  Opened all our great presents.  Tyler got new plastic for his motorcycle, and some clothes.  His fave present was an RC helicopter that occupies most of his time.  I got clothes, jewelry and a Cricket! I'm still figuring out how to work it but it looks really cool :)

We then headed to the hepworths where we opened all of our fun gifts including itunes gift cards, clothing, ski passes, and many other things. They got Rock Band and Stu and I spent lots of time passing all the levels on the country version.  We make a good team. Which is why our ginger bread house was the bomb- we make gingerbread houses on christmas day with the Hepworths and we had to have different partners than last year,  so stu and I again partnered up and our house was awesome.

We stopped by Grammies to visit! Love her!

The Highlight of my christmas was giving my dad an ipod touch.  He had wanted one for so long, and kept saying he was going to buy one for himself.  So everybody pitched in a little and surprised him with it on christmas day, wrapped in a huge box weighed down with all of the things we had at our house that were his. He hasn't put the thing down.   We spent more than planned but it was so worth it.

AHHH crazy November- Warning Long Post

November was nuts!  Let me tell you that it was full of craziness and I'll share a little here.  Of course we had thanksgiving-  We spend it with the Hepworths- and it was delicious.  It was fun to have the entire family together now that Stuart is back from the mish, including both Molly and Buddy, the dogs.  (FYI we lost Molly last week, she was a good dog may she rest in peace)

Next we moved! YAY!  the house looks good so far.  We had tons of family to help us paint and clean and move and we couldn't have done it without any of them.  I packed the Camera and it is still unfound.  but as soon as I find it I will post some pics of the house.

The Novemberfest happened.  The girls did really well, here are some pics to prove it.

We went to the Forgotten Carols- a yearly tradition with the family thanks to big sis Krystalee.  I bawl every year when we sing we will be together forever someday.  SO I made a goal to keep in control this time.  So... I imaged food in my head and I didn't shed a tear! Woo hoo!

 I was so proud of myself.

So ON top of all of this,  I told the Derm that I was a gonner- and I am officially not working there as of Jan 1.  This was a big step for me, and I am really excited to see what life has in store.

I have been picking up shifts as receptionist at Kutting edge and have LOVED it.  Way fun, really chill,  the girls are great, and I get to wear normal clothes everyday.  So we will see how that goes-

I will dearly miss the EC times!

It's competition season for Cheer- the first is 12/12-  wish us luck!

Happy birthday Krysta on the 9th of december, and graduation on the 12th.  Big month for her

Deek will be up for the holiday, that should be fun
