Tribute to The King

I lost a piece of my soul today.

As many of you know, Michael Jackson passed away tragically today. He has been a part of my life from the beginning. Those of you who know me, know that I've been a huge fan from day one. In fact, I have actual footage of me at the young age of 2 year old, singing the words to Man in the Mirror- Yes I knew the words at two years old.

This hopefully shows how the man affected my life. Now I may sound a little dramatic- But I really feel MJ has changed the music and entertainment world forever and He will be greatly missed.

I don't know one person who doesn't love thriller, beat it, and Bad. Or someone who hasn't tried to do the moon walk or the MJ kick. How about the music video's with story lines- credit that to MJ. He was an amazing artist and entertainer and I am super sad he has passed away.

I will forever love the black flood pants, white socks and black shoes- the sparkling glove, the black curly mullet, and the Oohs, Ow's and He-He's. Love you Michael.

Update

So as of 3 weeks ago my laptop has been under the weather and I have not had my computer to Blog on- so here is a big long update.

This last little while has been super busy! First a big announcement: I GOT INTO GRADUATE SCHOOL! yay for school- I can't wait- well, maybe I can wait till summer is over :)
We've attended weddings, missionary homecomings, and Tyler has had a birthday! Here are a few pics of the last little while.

Tyler Requested a Motorcycle Cake for his birthday! So we got creative last minute and this was the result- Just an FYI the motorcycle is almost the exact same bike Tyler has.
Only 3 candles! oops forgot to pick them up in the hustle and bustle of finding the perfect Bike.

Stuart Came Home! YAY- it is so nice to have him around. And ladies- He's not going to be on the market long- these Hepworth men are a hot commodity- Grab him while you still can!

It was a long anxious wait at the airport- My flip-flop broke and we jimmy rigged it together with a key and an elastic- a little old lady passed out and I found her slumped over her chair- and stuart took FOREVER getting off his plane- It was an interesting day.

The 3 daughter-in-laws! All married into the family! It was windy- hence the messed up hair.

The last little while has been super busy, and super fun. Our new computer will be getting here soon so more blogging is to come. Hopefully the summer continues to go on without any major complications. XOXO

Cheer Season

Cheer, Cheer, Cheer- its pretty much all that has been on my mind lately! We had tryouts and I have been spending all of my waking moments getting organized and trying to get everything in order for this new season. Tryouts went awesome and we had a bunch of girls tryout. The team now has 19 girls!!! thats so many I am so excited! Any way that is what is consuming my life lately. Gotta love it-

Cooking!

I've always been able to make a mean reservation, but I'm now trying my hand in cooking. I've made homemade chicken pot pie, Tortillas, spaghetti, and Mongolian Beef (Like PF's) but i'm running out of ideas. I can't make anything too gourmet, stick to like 7 ingredients or less haha- but if anybody has ideas or awesome recipes let me know- I'm trying to be a good wifey- they always say there are two things that will make any man happy, good food and well, you know. I need to get the food thing down- the rest is easy.

Jamaica was amazing! A much needed vacation for both Tyler and I! It was so relaxing for us to sleep in, lay on the beach/poolside, drink all the virgin pina colada's we want, enjoy some reggae music, and enjoy being together. I can't even tell you how much we needed it! We even found oursleves saying Ya-Mon by the time we left. The trip was unforgettable- and I can't wait until we have saved up enough to go on another trip.

We Did It!!!

After a long day in the spectrum we finally did it! It was so great to graduate with Tyler, and to get to sit by my girls Becca and Chels! It still isn't real to me that school is over- I keep thinking about what homework I need to do over the weekend ha ha. I'm excited for both Tyler and myself, and I look forward to the future we have together.

The Swine Flu

Is anybody else out there kind of freaking out about this Swine Flu? With my upcoming travel outside of the country I'm beginning to get a little nervous about all the people I will come in contact with at the airport. And EVERYWHERE is sold out of masks. Call me neurotic if you want but I'm pretty freaked out about all this. Am I the only one?--

Supercross Saturday

The big supercross race was on saturday- and of course we were there. We stopped at Texas road house on the way, and oh man it was good. We then headed to UVU stadium to watch the motorcycles. It was fun for me to watch, Tyler was in heaven. You could actually see the goosebumps on his arms. Jimmy Stuart won, in an awesome race around the track. Needless to say it was a fun, freezing cold night. And if I have any boys, i would bet anything its not the last motorcycle race I attend. Here's a little taste of the night. The yellow guy in front got second, the blue guy behind him is Jimmy Stuart, he ended up winning.
