As stated in my previous post...

 Parker is a good little Kisser

We sat him in front of the mirror and he must have liked what he saw- 

He kissed himself over and over again- soft and gentle.  He would lean in and kiss the mirror, then lean back and look at himself, and then do it again. 

We all laughed so hard.  He must realize how cute he really is.  haha

Parker is a passionate kisser!!
This is how it goes

1. He grabs a hold of whatever he can get his little hands on securing both sides of your head  (hair, ears, earrings, skin, etc.)

2. He opens up his mouth super wide

3. He attacks!! He pushes his mouth onto your face- and rubs it all over- making sure to leave extra slobber!! 

This is how we know he loves you.  Or... he's hungry haha  --

Pals for Life

Parker + Buddy = Best Friends

Parker and Buddy are already fast friends-  Parker pulls on buddy's chin, ears, tail, etc- and Buddy just gives Parker kisses in return.  The problem- if Buddy kisses Parker on the face, Parker thinks he needs to LICK Buddy back.  NASTY!  But I'm so glad they are friends.  Buddy lets Parker play with his toys sometimes too.  Oh man- I have a feeling this is a lifelong friendship in the making.

Hey Guys! I'm 6 months old!

Hey Everybody!

I'm Six Months OLD!

Mommy thinks I'm pretty cute!
Here are my stats:
Height:28 1/2 inches long - 95%
Weight: 20.9 lbs- 90%  
 ** Yep I'm still big!**

Here's what I can do!
* Eat cereal, baby food, and occasionally a french fry and licorice
* Sit up all by myself and play with my toys
* Hold my books while momma reads to me
* Sit and play the piano- I'm quite musical
* Scoot- ALL OVER THE PLACE- mommy can't leave me for a second! I'm fast!
* Clap my hands- mom is pround she taught me this!
* Smile, talk, giggle, yell, etc.
* I still kiss attack people- a post of this will be coming soon!

Mom and Dad love me more than anything in the whole world. I'm pretty special! :)

Parker James Hepworth, 5 months on October 2nd!

Parker at 5 months!

He may have been little when he was born, but the boy has grown like a weed!  Not only is he in the 90% percentile for both height and weight, but he also weighs 20 lbs.  Yep ladies and gents, he is huge. 

But its not only his rolls that are getting big, so is his personality!
Parker likes what he likes, and he'll let you know it.  He smiles like crazy, laughs and giggles,  give kiss attacks, and is quite the show off.
 
His new trick... he opens his arms out wide as far as he can... looks at you to make sure you are watching... and then snaps them in and looks at you as if to say "Did you see that?!!?" and he expects a reaction. (a smile, a surprised look, a sound)   Then he repeats.  Its seriously hilarious, and I love it. 
Other tricks,  rolling over, playing with his toes, sitting up (but he falls to the side after a while),  Kisses and snuggles, reaching and grabbing, eating rice cereal from a spoon, helping to hold his bottle in his mouth, and pounding on his bottle like its a drum.

I love this little guy more and more every day!  I'm one lucky mama.

Rocket Booster Explosion!

    Every year, since I was a little girl, my wonderful dad has asked us to go out and see them test the rocket booster.  Every year, something has come up and we haven't been able to go.   Recently, the space program has made some dramatic changes, and ATK will most likely not be buildling rocket boosters for much longer. 

   My dad called me and let me know there was going to be one last rocket booster test,  and I knew I HAD to be there.  Not only because I wanted to see it, but also because it was important to me to support my dad. 

   IT WAS AWESOME!  The explosion was big, the sounds were loud, and the mushroom cloud just keeped getting bigger and bigger!!!  Why in the world did I wait this long to go and see this awesome explosion?  And the best part? being there with my awesome dad.  He is an amazing guy, and works so extremely hard for our family.  I've never met someone who didn't love my dad.  He really is the best.

Loved the show, loved the company, wish I could do it again. 

A little update on the rest of us

I realize I have only been posting about our cute little Parker, and haven't updated on what Tyler and I have been up to.  And trust, we have stayed busy.

Tyler is still working hard at Thermo Fisher- bringing home the bacon.  He stays late working almost everday and lots of times works at home, and on the weekends.  He's a crazy hard worker, and TF is lucky to have him.  He's also been getting out and golfing, working on the yard, and grillin- I love the summer when he cooks for me on the Grill! Chicken, Steak, Veggies - seriously we eat like Kings! Like Healthy Kings!  When he isn't busy doing that- he seriously is the cutest with Parker- nobody can get Parker laughing like Tyler can.  Its so funny to watch.  I can already tell they will be best buddies!

I am right in the thick of coaching cheer. On top of coaching practices, I stay busy ordering a million different uniforms and camp stuff, Planning cheer camp, helping with fundraisers, and choreographing a Kick-A competition routine.  Cheer's kept me running crazy- but that's not the most exciting part of the summer.  I am finishing school!  What- its true- the forever student is finally finished.  I submitted my last assignment today and it felt great! Now I just need to Ace a Final and life will be homework free FOREVER!! I start by internship in September and I am super excited to get my hands dirty! I am in the YW's and I headed to camp.  I'm afraid I never made it overnight.  I tried, but ended up driving home at 3:30 because I couldn't sleep.  Maybe next year.  I'm also loving being a mommy! It was tough at first, but now I love every minute and miss my little guy everytime I'm away from him.  Life is good

We went to WY last weekend to the family  cabin- to spend some time with the relatives.  It was a blast- gotta love the Palisades! Its Gorgeous right now.  If only we had a boat....

Life is going at the Hepworths.  Its not perfect by any means- it gets crazy, the house gets messy, I get grouchy- but we are making it and loving it. 

3 Months and Growing FAST!

Our little man is getting so big. 

On August 2nd he'll be 3 months old. 

Here are some fun milestones!

* He says mom and momma- yes he really does- we have plenty of witnesses
*Grabbing on to things including hair, earings, necklaces and shirts is a hobby
* He waves his arms and kicks his legs all day long
* Sometimes he finds his thumb and sucks away, other times the fist does the trick
* 8 hours of sleep happened last night! LOVE IT!
* Snoring is still a common occurance
* He smiles all the time and on July 19th we got our first laugh!
* Poops are smelly and loud- haha but for some reason his grunt face is adorable
* 3-4 oz of milk every 2 hours is what he loves to eat
* He hardly EVER cries- he is such a good baby
* Parker is a well loved baby and can't go a single day without kisses from pretty much everybody!

Love it!  He is such a trooper and gets dragged around to random places all day long including cheer practice, stores, restaurants, the doctor, you name it he's been there.  He's my little sidekick and I love him to death!
